Doumeki - Oz - Doumeki's feelings for Oz are very wrapped up in the kind of person he is. The most important friendships in his life are with a guy who gives too generously because he's got low self-esteem and a girl who hides here sadness because her heart's in the right place, SO IF THAT SOUNDS FAMILIAR AT ALL . . . well, yes. Oz is that type. Doumeki can clearly see the good in him, but worries about the bad that could happen to him.

I definitely not saying that Doumeki sees Oz as some kind of placeholder for his real friends or anything >( He considers people on their own merits and he thinks Oz has a lot of them, and a personality all his own, and also a metric fuckton of problems. Doumeki has heard some pretty terrible things about Oz's life by now, and if he could help him and protect him, he absolutely would. But because he usually can't . . . I think that's why he mostly wants to make Oz happy.

This is where his feelings kind of run headlong into crush territory, because whenever he manages that, even a little, it makes him very... mm, content? Doumeki's never had a truly demonstrative person like him before. It's a good feeling. idek. Like I said, it came as a surprise to him. But it's definitely not a bad thing and since he had a choice of hurting Oz by not telling him how he felt or making Oz a little sad because he's Doumeki and his feelings don't lead to conventional things, well, he'd pick the second option every time.

Tsuzuki - Hayate - ....you know, Tsuzuki doesn't think he was all that wrong in his first analysis. Well, ok, his second first analysis, but it was all part of one conversation! Hayate fits in perfectly with Tsuzuki and the rest of the shini/shikigami as a person who has gone down the same path so many times that he's picked an extreme stance (in this case, NEVER LOVE ME EVER), and while Tsuzuki is sure there are reasons for that and they're probably every bit as terrible and angsty as he's been getting hints of, he still thinks it's entirely the wrong way to live an immortal life.

...that aside, Hayate is a good person who hides behind a large amount of tsunning, and Tsuzuki both likes him and enjoys finding ways to help him, talk to him, or tease him despite the attitude he has tried to front.

I do think knowing that Hayate only really remembers a little of his life would make Tsuzuki see his attitudes as a little less set, which would probably mean he'd push him harder to make him change... so it's probably a good thing he hasn't realized that.

Also, you and Himeno are adorable.

Tsuzuki - Tokage - Man, that whole conversation gave him whiplash while he tried to be sympathetic and figure out if Tokage was a threat or a victim :( In the end he's settled on victim, which means he does want to help her! But since she shut that down completely, and he thinks under the circumstances she's right (incidentally, if they weren't in camp he does in fact think he could purify and kill her.) he really doesn't know what else to do. He would try to be nice if they talked again.
